Love your Africa images. I was there, at age 10, when it was called Tanganyika. Tanzania is an artificial word combing Tanganyika and Zanzibar.

Thanks for your positive comment. I know the photos and collages of Peter Beard - especially of Africa and Francis Bacon. Sadly I did not run into him when I was in east Africa. And I know of the portrait of Peter Beard painted by Francis - and no, I never met Bacon although I know a few people who have.
